Teens in trouble
We need to understand that our teenagers can fall into the wrong crowd. We need to commuinicate with our teens more than once a day. We have to listen to their words carefully, they are trying to tell us something. They sometimes feel that they can not talk to us because we don't understand or we go balistic. We have to learn that they are becoming adults and they want us to talk to them as such.
I have a daughter 18 going on 19 in a few days that is sitting in jail for the very first time in her life. She has never been in trouble, always a hard worker and good financial wizard. But she became involved with the wrong people that she wants to call friends and boyfriend. I am pleading and crying over this tragedy. I can not come up with the money I need to bail her out. This is a crime of not listening to her and being there when she needed to talk. I feel helpless and insecure. She is feeling sad and knows she has done something really bad. But to let her sit in jail is taring my heart out. I would sell everything that I own to relieve her pain.
So listen up, they want to tell us something. Take time to be involved in their lives whether they like it or not. They think that they can do antthing without us by their side. There is nothing more stronger than FAMILY!!!!
